Product Specialist
Job Summary:
As a Product Specialist at Aspectrics, you will perform EP-IR feasibility studies and demos, in-house and on-site, as part of the sales process. You will prepare reports and provide presentations to customers, and provide customer support via telephone and email. You also will perform general post-sales application support and assist sales personnel and customers with design and planning of experiments for assistance in product integration.
Qualifications:
- Minimum BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with knowledge of analytical instrumentation. Good presentation and communication skills, mature personality and ability to work as part of a group with sales personnel and distributors is expected. Knowledge of spectrophotometric instrumentation, fiber optic probes and other sampling systems, chemometrics, statistics and computers is necessary. Knowledge of network integation, TCP/IP and OPC a plus. Multilingualism and mechanical aptitudes are also a plus. Experience in the infrared instrumentation industry a definite plus.
- As an employee of the Application and Customer Service group, you will be expected to demonstrate a track record of successful experience in dealing with customer on-site, capacity of independent critical thinking and analysis to solve problems on-site and performance under pressure.
- Ability to travel up to 50% and to lift and move object up to 50 lbs is required
