PETER ZIEBELMAN

Peter Ziebelman began his career as a venture capitalist over 16 years ago. He is general partner and co-founder of Palo Alto Venture Partners - www.pavp.com, a $150 million venture capital fund located in Palo Alto, California.

Palo Alto Venture Partners is a 'hands-on' VC firm focused on early and development stage technology investments. PAVP has backed several privately held companies that are now public companies or subsidiaries of public companies. Peter has also enjoyed teaching students as a guest lecturer for Stanford's, Wharton's, and Chicago's Business Schools. Peter has over 10 years of operational experience in general management where he specialized in the marketing and sales of emerging technology products, first with the Semiconductor Group of Texas Instruments and then the software company Ryan-McFarland Corporation. Peter holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Psychology with honors and distinction from Yale University. He later became a Sloan Fellow at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he received a M.Sc. in Management.

Peter is a long time member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
