Aspectrics, Inc. to Show its Encoded Photometric-Infrared Technology at the ISA EXPO in ChicagoAspectrics, Inc., a leading supplier of Encoded Photometric Infrared Spectroscopy (EP-IR) analyzers to OEMs, today announced that it will be exhibiting at the ISA Expo in the McCormick Place Lakeside Center, Chicago from October 25 to 27, 2005 (Booth No.: 1665). Aspectrics will be displaying and demonstrating its core EP-IR technology to interested clients or prospects. The rugged encoder spectrograph employs a highly-efficient modular optical system and a multi-channel precision rotary encoder, which is capable of acquiring spectra at rates up to 100 Hz. The company believes that an opportunity exists for EP-IR to replace the Nondispersive Infrared (NDIR), Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and gas chromatographic technologies currently used for process monitoring and environmental applications, as a single EP-IR system can replace multiple NDIR modules and provide better performance. In June the company announced receipt of initial orders for EP-IR production units from several OEM instrument vendors and systems integrators. While the details of individual clients and their particular agreements remain confidential, applications under development by Aspectrics first customers include ambient air and stack gas monitoring, engine emission analysis, and petrochemical and semiconductor processes. About Aspectrics, IncFounded in 2000 and based in Pleasanton, California, Aspectrics Inc. supplies innovative Encoded Photometric Infrared Spectroscopy (EP-IR) analyzers to OEMs supplying detector instrumentation to chemical, pharmaceutical, biomedical, and automotive markets. Aspectrics holds five U.S. patents for its encoding disc technology and associated optics. Aspectrics EP-IR technology was pioneered by founder and CTO, Thomas W. Hagler, Ph.D. More information on Aspectrics and the EP-IR technology can be found at www.aspectrics.com
