Aspectrics, Inc. Announces First Encoded Photometric Infrared Spectroscopy Purchase Orders From Multiple OEM SuppliersAspectrics, Inc., a leading supplier of Encoded Photometric Infrared Spectroscopy (EP-IR) analyzers to OEMs, today announced receipt of initial orders of EP-IR production units from several OEM instrument vendors and systems integrators. While the details of individual clients and their particular agreements remain confidential, applications under development by Aspectrics first customers include ambient air and stack gas monitoring, engine emission analysis, foods and semiconductor processes. We are pleased that we are now receiving the first orders for our EP-IR technology from OEMs for integration by them into various new analysis and monitoring process instrumentation, said Paul H. Salsgiver Jr., CEO of Aspectrics, Inc. Aspectrics will also continue to team with major environmental and process instrument manufacturers who will use EP-IRs sensitivity and ruggedness in their applications as a replacement for current detector array technology. At the heart of Aspectrics EP-IR analyzer is a rotating disc onto which up to 256 concentric encoding tracks is formed. The encoding tracks enable very accurate intensity measurements and are sensitive enough to replace conventional detector arrays such as NDIR and FTIR currently used in many instruments. AvailabilityAspectrics will begin shipping EP-IR products to customers during Q3, 2005 upon receipt of an order. About Aspectrics, IncFounded in 2000 and based in Pleasanton, California, Aspectrics Inc. supplies innovative Encoded Photometric Infrared Spectroscopy (EP-IR) analyzers to OEMs supplying detector instrumentation to chemical, pharmaceutical, biomedical, and automotive markets. Aspectrics holds five U.S. patents for its encoding disc technology and associated optics. Aspectrics EP-IR technology was pioneered by founder and CTO, Thomas W.
