Advanced Photometrics, Inc. Announces Key Management Team AppointmentsDennis Brunnenmeyer joined Advanced Photometrics in July, 2004 as VP of Engineering. Dennis has more than 35 years of hands-on experience in all facets of product design, development, manufacturing and marketing. Most recently Dennis was President and Director of Engineering at Cedar Ridge Systems, which was founded in 1991. Prior to that time, Dennis served as Engineering Manager and Division General Manager at Grass Valley Group, and also as Director of Marketing for Sierra Video Systems. Eric Hurst joined Advanced Photometrics in June, 2004 as VP of Manufacturing. Eric has more than 20 years experience in all areas of Manufacturing and Program Management. During his career, Eric transitioned several successful instrumentation products from Engineering into Manufacturing, and has also set up contact manufacturing and demand flow production processes. Most recently, Eric served as Manufacturing Program Manger for InVision Technologies during the unprecedented ramp up to supply Explosive Detection Systems to the nation?s airports following the 9/11 attacks. Walter Harrower joined Advanced Photometrics in June, 2004, as VP of Finance. Walter has over 25 years of experience in senior financial roles in companies in such diverse industries as Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Advertising, International Investment and Merchant Banking, Most recently, Walter was VP of Finance at several Bay Area start ups including Digital Express MD, HigherMarkets and Workspeed where he excelled in establishing controls and procedures, and in building financial and administration teams. In addition to his start up experience, Walter worked as controller at Revlon International, Irwin Toy and Crowntek International. Walter was awarded a bachelor's degree in Commerce from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He practiced and earned his Chartered Accountant designation while with Ernst & Young. Don Hawker joined Advanced Photometrics in July, 2004 as VP of Marketing. Don has more than 30 years experience in the design, development, sales and marketing of scientific instruments, informatics software, contract services, reagents and consumables. Prior to joining Advanced Photometrics, Don served as Director of Marketing & Business Development at ProteomTech, a biotech startup, where he was successful in securing services contracts with 7 of the top 10 global pharmaceutical companies. In the early 80's Don was co-founder and Director of Marketing of Microsensor Technology, the first instrument-on-a-chip company (cover of Scientific American). Earlier in his career, Don worked in R&D groups at Bio-Rad Laboratories and Thermo Finnigan.
